Managing the Park

Trustees

Cressington Park is managed by a board of trustees on behalf of all those owning plots within the Park. The trustees are unpaid volunteers who support the smooth running of the Park for the benefit of all.

The Deed of Covenant lists that the trustees’ duties are to:

  • Maintain the Roads, Pavements, Sea wall, Promenade and Lodge.
  • Ensure that the covenants as contained in the original Deed are faithfully and diligently observed and protected.
  • Raise money for the above by way of an Annual Park Call, which has to be approved at the annual meeting.
  • Hold an Annual General Meeting of all those owning plots within the park, to approve expenditure and confirming the Call for the following year.
  • Keep appropriate records of the Meetings, and present accounts each year for approval

If you own a plot within the Park and are interested in becoming a trustee please feel free to contact us.

The AGM

The annual general meeting is held each year for plot owners (“proprietors”) to discuss and agree the Park Call, appoint Trustees, and discuss any other relevant matters concerning Cressington Park. It’s normally held in October each year, and all proprietors will be contacted ahead of the meeting with details. The Park Call is immediately due following the AGM when it is set.
